I’ve had an awesome day doing the tour. You get to see/visit so many beautiful places and receive so much information, really a great day!Both of the guides were very knowledgeable about the movies and the country and its history.Would absolutely recommend this tour, even if you ain’t a big LotR fan, the views and places are totally worth it!

Verified Great Experience for ALL LoTR fans Young and Old
Thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Our tour guide / driver Francesco is a keen and very knowledgeable Lord of The Rings fan. He shared a lot of interesting information about the locations, filming and context relating to the LoTR. My wife and I are 73yo, we will watch the trilogy again, this time with enhanced understanding, appreciation and enjoyment!

Verified Middle Earth behind the scenes
Mate… Francesco and Kraig. Top Tier lads with a great amount of knowledge about LOTR but also the area, something that really helped understand Queenstown and the surrounding lands. Also all the little tidbits of knowledge from LOTR which often goes unspoken, really helped further improve the whole experience. Ten out of ten and I hope to next check out your other tour with Shane!

Verified Stunning views and excellent stories
This tour was absolutely fantastic! The day was split into two parts, and we explored many different film locations around Queenstown and surrounding areas. The views were stunning and I enjoyed hearing all about the behind the scenes stories and facts at many of the locations.Francesco and Vicky were amazing! They had memorabilia from the movies to show us and would tell us fun stories and facts about the movies! Vicky was an extra in the movies and even gave us some personal stories to add to the experience!We even had a drink in a local bakery in Arrowtown in the morning and had hot drinks on location in the afternoon too!Francesco and Vicky were the best guides and I wholeheartedly recommend this tour for not only fans of LOTR but also as a great way to see some of the fantastic views around Queenstown and other areas!

Francesco was incredibly knowledgeable, bubbly and his enthusiasm about LotR was contagious! We really enjoyed our tour and seeing all the filming locations he showed us, and had a great time with all the props! Grazie Francesco!

That was an incredible experience, Francesco our guide is really passionate from the LOTR and his knowledge are amazing! He also had a lot of certified weapons from the movie to take some pictures with. I highly recommend 🙂
